Here at the Forestry Commission`s `Treefest`, Ruth Goodfellow shows us her skills in making durable shingles for roofs using wood from the coppice restoration project at Westonbirt Arboretum in Gloucestershire. Ruth makes these individual shingles entirely by hand from cleft oak or sweet chestnut.
