"My Lil off grid project - still working on the solar.  I only have 90 watts but I can run lights and a radio. The hot water stove and heating will be gas until I finish my thermal heating and cooling unit.  I've only had it a few months. I just finished hooking the electrical up right. Now working on plumbing and drinking water.  I also built a DC radio out of a car stereo. I use candle lanterns just to see at night along with solar pathway lights that work great for outside lighting. Anyone have any suggestions?"

If the water level rises, John says he adjusts the outriggers. He has 3 days notice that the water will be rising.

The light produced by candles and solar lights stand out in the darkness of the wilds... hey there's more!  Turn the page!
