LAND

There is a mixed of woodland and meadows (arable soil). The variety of trees include cork oak, holm oak, sweet chestnut, olive trees with fig and madrona along the winter and spring streams that run through the land.

Cork oak has  9 year cash crop of approximately 223 quintals at 46 Kilos per quintal. Not only is it used for insulation and wine bottles but many of the local people craft beautiful flower pots, bowls and many other artisan objects.

The chestnut and olives yeald a yearly crop and along with the olive and oak provide all the firewood needed.
