Trying to explain Permaculture to people that haven’t heard the term—or seen the light—can be arduous at times. There are several books on the market, dozens of podcasts, and a myriad of classes to take, or workshops to attend. However, the recipient of this explanation must first buy into the concept. Permaculture playing cards! What better way to deliver beautifully illustrated, enlightening ideas, bite-size nuggets of wisdom? Paul Wheaton and Alexander Ojeda have worked almost 4 years on the concept, and have made them available to the market—after dozens of iterations, hundreds of meetings, and thousands of hours—the world now gets to enjoy their practical elegance.

One of the questions we are asked repeatedly is "How do you tell people what permaculture is?" If you give them a book, they might look at a few pictures. If you send them a link to something they tend to save it for later. The idea of the deck of cards is that they might browse it like a book - but this is all pictures and just a few words. Much easier to browse. And hopefully convey a bigger picture in a smaller package.
