Turning a Downed Log into Wooden Bowls - A Beautiful Process

 The process begins by finding a good piece of downed beech or maple to be used

The log is trimmed in the best way to save a blemish free blank for cutting

Specially made knives are used in the process

One after another a different sized blade is used to cut out the nesting bowls from the same blank

And they are hand painted and clear coated to completion
