"Wizard Home" Going Up Down Under

Categories: Building Methods

Duuvy Jester has another project workshop running at Terraeden Biotecture building the "Wizard Home,"  an earthtube and earthbag "superadobe" styled round house.  It's a mud-slinging endeavor where people work together and have a blast doing it!  The earth bag design is beneficial for it's low cost of materials and terrific insulating capacity.  It's heavy and once coated with cob on the inside and out, keeps you cool in the Summer, and warm in the Winter!  It's also great as a do-it-yourself solution when no building materials are affordable or available.  The cost of the bags is minimal to the cost of construction, and dirt is everywhere!

Wooden door and window frames are installed as a part of the construction
